Scottish Highland cattle are the oldest known Scottish cattle breed. Native to the Highland region, they have become quite popular in the United States. This breed has been known for their shaggy double coats that keep them warm in harsh climates. Highlands tend to be docile, calm and do not stress easily. Scottish Highland cow, Trinity, came to the Milwaukee County Zoo in August 2015. The zookeepers describe her as friendly, easy to work with and loves when keepers brush her.
